Nintendo Power Shuts Down In December
The independent company running Nintendo Power will be cancelling the magazine, with December being its last issue. Staff working on the magazine have already (mostly) been reassigned to other projects the company has been working on, but Nintendo still feels bad about the demise of the magazine.

We can confirm that the December issue of Nintendo Power will be its last. To celebrate Nintendo Power’s long history, please share a memory or favorite story. For Nintendo Power subscription inquiries, please visit nintendopower.com/customerservice.

Go on to Facebook and let Nintendo know what you’ll miss about America’s longest running gaming-related magazine. Over 27 years’ worth of writing is ending in a few months.

OUYA: A New Kind of Video Game Console

An open source console built with Android OS is trying to change console gaming. Giving indie developers the ability to bring their games to the television and giving you many Free to Play games and demos, this looks like it can do what it aims to. It also brings Twitch.TV to your screen so you can watch all the esports your heart desires.

With a Tegra3 quad-core processor, 1GB of ram, 8GB of flash storage, built in WiFi and Bluetooth, HDMI and USB support, and a controller with a touchpad built in, this little beast of a console will be more than enough running on Android 4.0.

All they need now is your support to make their prototype a product ready to be sold (extremely cheaply) on market, so go over to their Kickstarter and make a pledge!
