Ya, so this is my current SNES collection. Beauty, isn’t she? I mean, it’s not necessarily impressive or anything, owning only about 20 games. But these are 20 games that still get still get played often. And really, to me, it’s not about the collecting as much is about loving what it is you collect. I’m not out to create a complete collection of all SNES games. I’m out to collect the games that I care about. Games that I know, when I take them home, that they’ll have a purpose beyond sitting on another shelf to rot. And really, I think that’s the greatest thing we can do for these old machines, carts and accessories - give them a good home.
The Wooden Arcade is classic video game inspired, handmade pixelated wood art. I hand cut, hand paint and do everything from scratch. I create them using recycled wood, acrylic paints, and finish with epoxy.
